AI Tools
Five commands built on bore's AI features. None need permissions.
Ask
,ask is a timeout the same as a kickAliases: gpt, chat, askgpt. Answers with the bot's own knowledge and keeps a little conversation context.
| Trick | How |
|---|---|
| Ask about something happening now | Add --search to look it up on the web. bore also spots questions that clearly need current information |
| Ask about a message | Reply to it with ,ask what does this mean. The message is included as context |
| Long answer | Split into pages with arrows |
Keep questions short and factual. Up to a few thousand characters is fine, and a novel is not.
Generate an image
,imagine a lighthouse in a storm, watercolorAliases: generate, draw.
| Flag | Values |
|---|---|
--ar | 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 |
--model | flux, turbo, sana |
,imagine a lighthouse in a storm --ar 16:9 --model turboTwo buttons appear under the result for three minutes, and only you can press them: Re-roll makes another version, Delete removes it.
Describe what you want to see, not what you want it to do. "A lighthouse in a storm, tall waves, warm light" beats "make me a picture of a lighthouse".
Speak
,tts welcome to the server everyoneAliases: speak, texttospeech, aitts. Posts an audio file you can play in voice or download.
,tts voices
,tts try this --voice novaFour voices: astra, luna, sol, nova. Text longer than 1000 characters is cut.
Summarize
,summarize <paste the text>Aliases: sum, tldr. Or reply to a long message with ,summarize and it uses that instead. Input is capped at 4000 characters.
Rewrite
,rewrite --tone professional our api is broken and we are sorryAlias: paraphrase. Any tone word works: professional, friendly, short, funnier. Input is capped at 2500 characters, and the tone goes before the text.
These are the public AI features on bore's own instance. If you run your own copy without connecting them, the commands tell you they are unavailable rather than pretending to work.
