Searches and Lookups

Web, image, gif, anime, movie, game, book, dictionary and translation commands.

Searches and Lookups

None of these need permissions. In an age-restricted channel, image and web results stop being filtered, and adult-rated media lookups become available.

Web

Command	Aliases	What you get
`,google cats in boots`	`g`	Ten web results, paginated
`,duckduckgo cats in boots`	`ddg`	The same ten results
`,image cats in boots`	`im`, `img`	Up to fifteen pictures
`,duckduckgoimage cats`	`ddgim`, `ddgimg`	The same, from the image search
`,gif cat`	`giphy`	An animated result
`,tenor cat` An animated result
`,wolfram 128 * 44`	`calc`, `w`, `wa`, `wolframalpha`	An answer, not a link. Math first, then a plain-language result
`,urban shelving`	`ud`, `urbandictionary`	Every definition, with examples and vote counts

,reverseimage <link or attachment>

Aliases: rimage, rimg. Point it at a picture, by link, attachment, or by replying to a message with one, and bore gives you buttons for Google Lens, TinEye, Yandex and Bing.

,steal <message link>

Collects every custom emoji and sticker used in one of your server's messages, with links to them. Read only, it adds nothing to your server.

Words and language

,translate es hello there

Alias: tr. The first word is the language you want, the rest is the text. Add --from fr to say what it came from. Up to 1500 characters.

,lyrics artist - song name

Aliases: lyric, lyr. Words to the song, in pages if it is long.

Shows, films and games

Command	Aliases	Looks up
`,movie Dune`	`kino`	Title, director, genre, rating. Add `expand` for the plot, runtime, release date and country
`,tvshow Severance`	`show`	Rating, status, network, premiere and finale, runtime, genres
`,game outer wilds`	`gamesearch`	Price, release, platforms, genres, reviews
`,book Piranesi`	`goodreads`	Author, year, pages, rating, subjects

Adult-rated games and shows are refused outside an age-restricted channel.

Anime and manga

,anime cowboy bebop
,manga berserk
,character spike spiegel

Anime and manga results are filtered to safe listings outside age-restricted channels. The character lookup gives the original name, nicknames and how many people favourited them.

Dictionary and reference notes
