What to expect
| Thing | Detail |
|---|---|
| How many are kept | The last fifty of each kind, per channel |
| Scope | Only the channel you are standing in. There is no server-wide snipe |
| Bots | Messages deleted or edited by a bot are not recorded |
| Restarts | The memory is cleared when the bot restarts |
| People who left | Shown as "a former member" where relevant |
Snipe is a channel memory, not an archive. If you need deleted messages to be recorded properly and searched later, use Event Logging with message_delete, message_edit and message_bulk_delete pointed at a channel only staff can read.
