AntiRaid

Deal with a join flood, alt accounts, and default-avatar bots the moment they arrive.

AntiRaid

AntiRaid watches who is joining, which is a different problem from AntiNuke watching what people with power are doing. Three modules, each with its own punishment and threshold, all off until you switch them on.

All AntiRaid commands need Manage Server or a fake permission that grants it.

,antiraid settings

Aliases: config, stats. Shows each module, whether it is on, its punishment and its threshold.

AntiRaid punishments are kick or ban only. There is no strip option, because a raider who just joined has no roles to strip.

Mass join

Fires when more than a set number of people join inside ten seconds. Everyone in that burst who is not whitelisted gets the punishment.

,antiraid massjoin enable --do ban --threshold 10

Both flags are required, and the threshold is a plain whole number of joins.

,antiraid massjoin disable

Aliases: on and off for the two words above.

Pick a threshold that is comfortably above your normal traffic. A server that regularly gains five members an hour can live with 10. A server doing a launch or a giveaway can temporarily want 30, and should use antiraid whitelist for the people bringing friends instead.

New accounts

Fires on a single joiner whose Discord account is younger than the age you set. This is the module that stops alt accounts and bot waves.

,antiraid newaccounts on --do kick --threshold 30

Thirty here means thirty days: reject anyone whose account is under a month old.

,antiraid newaccounts off

To let one specific young account through anyway:

,antiraid newaccounts whitelist @member

This is a toggle, running it again removes them. It only affects this module.

Default avatar

Fires on a joiner with no custom avatar, which is what a freshly created bot account looks like. No threshold, because there is only one join.

,antiraid defaultavatar enable --do kick
,antiraid defaultavatar disable

Aliases: dav, defaultpfp.

Real people leave the default avatar too, especially brand new ones. kick is the right punishment here, so an honest member can simply set a picture and rejoin. Use ban only if your server is being targeted repeatedly.

Exempting someone from all of it

,antiraid whitelist @member
,antiraid unwhitelist @member
,antiraid whitelist view

Aliases: wl, unwl. A whitelisted member is ignored by every module, including the mass join sweep, so inviting friends never gets them banned.

antiraid whitelist view pages through ten per page.
